Our Story

Built from the Sea Up

Chintan Hodar started Agastya Enterprise in 2020, right during the Covid lockdown — with a vision to bring high-quality, locally manufactured fishing nets to Gujarat's fishermen. What began as one shop in Porbandar has today grown to 3 locations across Saurashtra.

2020 — PORBANDAR
Founded during lockdown. First shop opened in Bhatiya Bazar, Porbandar. Started selling trawling nets to local fishermen.
2021 — MANGROL
Expanded to Mangrol harbour. Growing demand from captains and boat owners across coastal Gujarat.
2025 — OKHA
Third shop launched in Okha. Now serving 500+ boats and 300+ customers across 5+ major harbours.
